2017 Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch (2nd Generation) Repairs FAQ
I can’t see the repair I need listed- do you still offer it?
Quite possibly! We couldn’t list every single repair above, but our staff generally know what they are able to do and will let you know if something’s fixable if you ask them.
Our repairs include 2017 Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch 2nd generation screen replacement, battery replacement for the 2nd-generation iPad Pro 10.5", digitizer/glass replacement and USB-C connector/charging port repair, plus water damage.
Why’s it sometimes called the "first generation" or the "second generation" if there’s only one version/generation of the 10.5″ iPad Pro?
The iPad Pro line first came out in 2015 with 12.9" and 9.7" versions. Those were replaced in 2017 with two new iPad models (i.e. the "second generation") including the 10.5". However, that was the first (and only) version or "generation" of the iPad Pro that had a 10.5".
In short, it’s nothing more than a naming inconsistency and not worth worrying about since there’s only one version of the 10.5″ iPad Pro (i.e. the 2017 version) and you’re in the right place for 10.5" iPad Pro repairs!
What’s the charge for examining my iPad Pro?
There’s no fee just to look at your iPad Pro over the counter (nor to discuss it over the phone). If we have to book it in to find out what’s wrong, there’s a £CALL charge to cover our time, but this is already included in the repair price if you go ahead with that.
