iPhone 12 Pro Repairs

Thank you for visiting Gadget Hero- we hope you find the solution to your iPhone 12 Pro repair problem!

The iPhone 12 Pro is smaller than its sibling (the Pro Max), but its 6.1″ OLED display is still vulnerable to damage and can be expensive to repair. A large number of stores give an apparently low price for repairs by using cheap, lower-quality LCD-based replacements that don’t match the original OLED. We’re different- we give you a choice of display for your phone’s screen replacement. Scroll down to see our prices and might be pleasantly surprised how affordable the Premium OLED actually is!

If you scroll down further for more repairs you can see we also do battery replacements and many other iPhone 12 Pro repairs including glass back replacement, charging port repair, water and liquid damage, audio issues and more.

FAQ for Our Apple iPhone 12 Pro Repair Service

Why do you offer two screen repair types? Is the “Premium” one worth the extra money?

Your iPhone 12 Pro originally came with a screen based on OLED technology. This gives a very high quality picture, but can be expensive to replace. Many repair centres use cheaper replacements screens based on the older LCD technology to keep the cost down, but those are almost always inferior to the original (though most won’t point that out!)

Our “Premium” replacement iPhone 12 Pro screens are OLED-based and of comparably high-quality to the original. Due to our industry connections, we’re able to source and offer these at an affordable price. They’re still a little more expensive than the LCD-based ones, but the quality is far higher and most of our customers go for them once they see the difference.

The “Basic” screens are LCD-based and offer a usable-quality display. (We offer them mainly for price-sensitive customers and to remain competitive with rivals who base their prices on cheap LCD replacements).

Do you charge for diagnostics or investigating problems?

You’re welcome to bring your iPhone 12 Pro in, and we won’t charge anything for the initial discussion.

If we need to book it in and spend time on further diagnostics, there’s a charge of £CALL. However, we’ll inform you of this in advance and- assuming it’s fixable and you want to go ahead with a repair- that’s already included in the repair price.

I spilled something on my phone or dropped it in water- what should I do?

Turn off your iPhone 12 Pro and stop using it until it’s been looked at. Bring it to us as soon as possible– even if your phone looks okay today, corrosion from water/liquid damage can be ongoing and render it irrepairable.

We do not recommend sticking it in rice to dry it out faster. Most corrosion is caused by the impurities and residue left behind as the water dries, so drying it out doesn’t help- in fact, it often speeds up the damage.
