Here’s a Nintendo Switch that came into our Broughty Ferry shop with a nasty bend and a broken screen. We could see that it needed a screen repair, but had the bending caused further damage?

Generally speaking, bending any electronic device isn’t good- it can strain and even damage the boards inside and can cause soldered connections attaching components to the board to break. In short, we don’t recommend you go around wringing your Nintendo Switch like a towel(!)

Fortunately, in this case the damage was limited to the screen, and our technician was able to fit a new screen and had the customer’s Switch looking as good as new!
