Your fourth-generation Apple iPad is referred to (both officially and otherwise) by a number of different names. Why do you list two types of screen repair?
On the iPad 4, the front glass (including the touch/digitizer) is separate from the LCD display panel. This means that if it’s only the front glass that’s broken and the LCD itself is okay (which is the case more often than not), we don’t need to replace the whole lot.
Glass-only repairs are cheaper than those where the LCD needs replaced too.Why is my iPad 4 bulging?
This means the battery inside is swollen- a symptom of of wear or damage and a sign that it might even be dangerous. Regardless, it means your battery should be replaced.
Does you charge for diagnostics?
We won’t charge if you simply bring it in and we have a look at it over the counter and a quick discussion. Charges only apply if we need to book it in and spend more of our time investigating the problem, and that fee (£CALL) is already included in the price of the repair if you proceed.
