My iPhone 6S is a few years old- will this affect its performance?
The iPhone 6S first came out in 2015. Apple stopped making them in 2018, so any remaining examples out there will be a few years old by now. The most common problem with older phones is that the batteries degrade due both to use (repeated discharge/recharge cycles) and age, which reduces their ability to hold charge.
The Apple iPhone 6S battery isn’t user-replaceable, but it can be replaced by ourselves for just £CALL.
Is there a diagnostics fee?
Where we’re able to identify the issue over-the-counter when you bring it in, there’s no fee for a quick check. We only charge when we need to book in your iPhone 6S and spend time investigating the problem. Even that fee (£CALL) is already included in the price if you go ahead with a repair anyway.
