Apple iPad Repair Services
Did you know that several of us at Gadget Hero have been repairing tablets since the original Apple iPad came out in 2010? Those were the first tablet to become widely successful, and they’re still probably the most popular.
Tablets are particularly vulnerable to the screen getting damaged, broken or cracked. Unlike some other repair stores, we’re able to repair or replace your iPad’s original screen without resorting to a cheap, second-rate copy. After all, chances are you paid good money for your a tablet of the iPad’s quality, and you probably don’t want to squander that on a poor-quality replacement screen.
Due to our experience in tablet repair, we know how to do this properly without breaking the bank!
Another common fault are jack and sockets for connectors. We can repair faulty or damaged headphone jack sockets, as well as damaged Lightning or USB-C sockets.
What iPad Repairs and Services Do You Offer?
- Broken Digitizer / Broken Touch – If your tablet isn’t responding properly- or responding at all- to touches, the digitizer (the part which responds to touch) or related circuitry may be faulty
- Broken Glass
- Broken Screen / Cracked Screen
- Faulty Headphone Socket – Signs of this include either the jack not going in properly, or you can’t hear anything though your earphones/headphones
- Faulty Battery Replacement – If it appears that your iPad’s battery no longer holds a charge like it used to, it may need replaced. This also applies if your iPad has a swollen case caused by a swollen battery.
- Faulty Lightning/USB/USB-C Socket
- Power and Charging Problems – This might- or might not!- be due to an old or damaged battery, a faulty charger/Lightning/USB-C socket (as described above) or something else
- Water Damage / Liquid Damage – Whether it’s plain water or something else that’s got onto your iPad, it’s essential that you bring it to us as soon as possible. We recommend that you see our section covering liquid damage to smartphones, as our advice for water-damaged tablets is much the same. In short, turn off your tablet, don’t use it, don’t try to dry it out, and don’t assume it’ll be okay (as liquid-related corrosion can be ongoing over time).
- iPad Not Starting
- Black Screen / Dark Screen
…and more! So don’t worry if you don’t see your problems listed above. In fact, you don’t even need to know exactly what’s wrong with your iPad.
You can contact us beforehand or bring your iPad directly in to our shop– whichever suits you.
Whatever you think the problem is, bring it to us and we can do the hard work of figuring the rest for you!
