Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Repair Services FAQ
What’s the big deal with your genuine original Samsung AMOLED screen replacements?
Your S21 Ultra came an AMOLED-based display, a technology which gives a very high-quality picture. However, replacement AMOLED screens can be expensive and difficult to find. So many repair shops fit cheaper third-party replacement screens based on the older LCD technology instead.
Unfortunately, most are significantly inferior when it comes to brightness, contrast, resolution, colour rendition and so on. They can make a £1000-plus phone look like a £150 one!
We’ve used our industry connections to source AMOLED screens at a price that’s affordable. We can’t claim they’re the cheapest screens out there, but they’re definitely worth a little extra if you care how your Galaxy S21 Ultra looks.
I’m not sure what’s wrong, or whether I need a particular repair. Can you help?
Is the problem down to a battery issue, a charging port fault, or something else?
Should I ignore water damage if it looks okay?
If you think that liquid or water has got past the waterproofing on your phone, don’t turn it on- bring it to us as quickly as you can before there is any further damage. (Note that even if your phone looks okay, the residue left by water can cause continued corrosion and it might not be okay tomorrow).
We don’t recommend trying to dry it out either; this doesn’t solve the underlying problem (damp residue causing corrosion) and sometimes even speeds it up.
