Broken Screen Repair for your Smartphone

This includes screen replacement and glass and digitizer replacement services (varies by model).

Screen damage (including broken screens) is probably the single most common phone repair. For the most common models of phone, we generally offer more than one screen repair option, and our staff will help explain which one is most likely to be suitable for you.

Mobile Phone Battery Replacement and Charging Problem Repair

If your existing mobile phone battery no longer holds a charge properly, we can replace this for most common models.

If the screen or case of your phone is bent or swollen as if there’s something puffed-up inside, that’s probably a sign that the battery itself is damaged and swollen. If that’s the case, you should not use your phone in this state until the battery has been replaced. Swollen and damaged batteries can be a fire hazard

Charging problems can also be caused by damage to the USB charging port, or to the chips and circuits associated with charging. We can usually fix this as well.

Lightning, Micro-USB and USB-C and Other Connector Problems Fixed

These include problems related to the Lighting port on the iPhone, and damage to the Micro-USB or USB-C and other connectors on other phone models. As already mentioned, this can cause problems with charging and other related issues.

We can also look at audio/headphone socket problems and other issues caused by connector/dock damage.

Phone Audio Issue Repair

These include problems where you can’t hear audio, or where the people you’re on a call with can’t hear you. This can be due to damage to the speaker or microphone, or sometimes issues relating to the supporting chipset inside your phone.

Microsoldering Board Repairs

Many smartphone repair stores are able to offer basic screen and battery replacements, but run into problems with anything more advanced. Our technicians have the skills and equipment to carry out microsoldering repairs (i.e. those that require soldering and replacing components that need a microscope to view), so we stand a better chance of fixing it.

Water Damage to Your Phone

Also known as liquid damage, this covers a wide range of disasters including spilled coffee and beer, dropping it in the toilet or in the bath and more. When your phone has liquid inside it, it’s important that you don’t delay in getting it to us as soon as possible.

Some people think it’s okay to leave their wet cellphone until it has dried off, but this isn’t true. Corrosion is an ongoing process, and the longer you leave liquid inside your phone, the more corrosion it can cause. Even once it’s dried, the residue it leaves behind can continue to cause damage.

Do not attempt to dry off your phone (e.g. using rice or a heat source). Even if it’s mostly dried, the residue left behind can cause even greater damage.

Do not try to use your phone in the meantime, and do not connect it to a charger. If it’s already connected to a charger, disconnect the power as soon as possible, but only if it’s safe to do so. (Do not touch the mains charger if it is wet and the power is on).

Remember – the quicker you bring your liquid-damaged phone to us, the better its chance of recovery.
